Start with one process.

After two weeks you have three things: how the work happens today, how it should, and a plan to get there that you can act on with or without us.

Or start with the method on paper: the free field guide.

What you get at the end

One document, written in the terms of the process itself: steps, hand-offs, days and pounds. Here it is for the worked example: an invoice, received to paid.

RecommendationInvoice received → supplier paid · Day 14

01 · Current state

7 steps

  • Three systems, none of them talking
  • Four hand-offs between people
  • The same invoice keyed in twice
  • Approval on paper, chased every Friday

02 · Better state

2 steps a person touches

  • One record from inbox to ledger
  • Nothing keyed in twice
  • Approval in the ledger, the same day
  • Five findings, none needing software built

03 · Action plan

5 changes

  1. Connect the inbox to the finance system
  2. Automate the finance-system entry
  3. Stop the printed approval
  4. Simplify the chase to one rule
  5. Connect the approval to the ledger
Each change named, owned and given a measure. Not a 60‑page deck. Worked example, not a client’s figures.

Included in the two weeks

  • One defined workflow
  • Up to three stakeholder interviews
  • Up to two principal systems
  • Observation of the process as it happens
  • Review of the documentation and data you provide
  • One 90-minute findings session
  • One recommendation document

Separate, if you want it

  • Implementing the changes
  • Building or configuring software
  • Support after the findings session

Each is a separate piece of work. None is assumed, and the fee is credited against any of them booked within three months.

How the two weeks run

Two weeks, elapsed, where the work happens.

An open-plan office: two people mapping a process on a wall screen while a colleague takes notes, and others working at their desks.
Where the work happens, with the people who do it.
  1. Days 1–2

    Understand

We define the workflow, the people and the systems involved. Up to three interviews.

  2. Days 3–7

    Follow

We watch the work as it happens, and read whatever documentation already exists.

  3. Days 8–10

    Question

We challenge why each step, hand-off and approval exists.

  4. Days 11–13

    Redesign

We decide what should stop, be simplified, bought, automated, connected or built.

  5. Day 14

    Return

A 90-minute findings session, and the recommendation document is yours.

  • Three conversations with the people who do the work.
  • One 90-minute session at the end.
  • Nothing to prepare. Whatever documentation exists is enough.

Is this for you?

It is, if there is one process in your business that everyone knows is slower, more expensive or more complicated than it should be, and nobody has had the time to take it apart.

Mark the ones that are true.0

What does the process cost you now?

Most of a process’s cost is people’s time, and nobody adds it up. Put in your own figures. The ones here are the invoice workflow from the homepage, as an example.

Which process?

One process is a workflow with a specific starting event and a specific completed outcome. Pick one of these, or name your own on the next page.

A whole department, platform or customer journey is not one process. We can review those too, and we’ll tell you which engagement fits.

Before you decide

The questions people ask before they book, answered the way we answer them on the phone.

We already know what is wrong.

Then the two weeks confirm it, put a cost on it and give you the action plan to fix it. Knowing what is wrong is not the same as having decided what to do about it.

What if the answer is a £20 tool?

Then that is the answer we give you. The recommendation is not shaped to what Prodro could build or sell.

Do we have to use Prodro afterwards?

No. There is no obligation to use Prodro to implement anything we recommend. If you want us to deliver the change, we can. If you don’t, the recommendation is still yours to act on.

Our problem is bigger than one process.

Tell us anyway. If it is a broader function, platform or journey we will say so and point you to the right engagement. Sometimes one process is still the right place to start.

Who actually does the work?

The people who scope the work are the people who do it, from the first interview to the findings session. Nothing is handed on.

When can you start?

Say when you would like to start when you enquire. We confirm dates when we reply, usually within one working day.

Can we see how you think first?

Yes. The field guide sets out the whole method: the five moves, the six decisions and the canvas we work from. It is free, and reading it first is a perfectly good reason to book or not to book. Get the free field guide

How do we pay?

One fixed fee of £4,500, invoiced by Prodro Group Limited. We confirm the terms when we reply. Nothing is charged before you have agreed a start date. If you go on to book implementation with Prodro within three months, the £4,500 is credited against it, up to the value of that work. Implementation costing less than £4,500 is covered by the credit; the difference is not refunded.

What is taking more work than it should?

Tell us where the work hurts. You don’t need to know the process, or the answer. We reply to every enquiry, usually within one working day.
